Belts and hoses are located under the hood of your Subaru model. Hoses withstand coolant under intense temperatures and pressure. When Should I Replace Subaru Belts and Hoses?
Usually, it's recommended to replace hoses about every 50,000 miles. Remember to inspect them for cracks regularly. As for your serpentine belt, you'll want to replace it every 50,000 miles or so. The timing belt doesn't need to be replaced until the 100,000 mile-mark. Be sure to check your owner's manual for more information.
